Two days ago a young couple came to Kenya from Tanzania and decided to stop at one of the biggest hotel in Nairobi. The two visitors with the management of the hotel that they will pay the hotel bills the following morning after exchanging the Tanzanian currency they had.

The following morning the man woke up very early and went to the bureau to exchange the money. He went back to the hotel ready to settle the bill.

When he was given the bill he was so shocked that the money that he was supposed to pay was far above what he had. The man requested to see the manager immediately so that he can explain to him because he thought the junior staffs were out to steal from him. Off course, most Tanzanian perceive Kenyans as thieves.

When the manager came he told explained to him on how that amount was arrived at. He told him that among the facilities he was paying for was the swimming pool, a 3D Cinema,5-star meals, the best circus in East Africa, best rides and all the available entertainments.

The man protested that he did not use some of the facilities they were charging him for.The manager did not want to hear any excuse from the man.In fact, the manager told him it is not his problem if he did not use the said facility.

The man looked at the manager and pulled a one thousand note from his pocket and told the manager that he needs his change.

 The man told the manager that “My wife was available and-and you were to sleep with her for payment and if you didn’t that is your problem. I charge equal amount to want you are asking me to pay,” said the man.

The manager was shocked and to hear that. After a long argument the guy at long last he just paid a thousand shillings and left the hotel.
