MIGUNA MIGUNA PLAYS TOUGH FOR NAIROBI TOP SEAT, SAYS MONEY WON'T WIN ONE AN ELECTION

Nairobi gubernatorial seat aspirant Miguna Miguna on Wednesday said he is ready to take over City Hall asking Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero to vacate office for allegedly fearing him.

Mr Miguna during Jeff Koinange Live said he expected the Governor to show up for debate alongside other aspirants but accused them of fearing his revolution and avoiding a one on one engagement with him.

"If the governor fears me then he should vacate office as I am ready to take over alongside my boys. We are going to drain the swamp, " said Miguna.

He added that he is way better than being called the Nairobi's Donald Trump saying Trump is his student who later became a thief.

He has assured city residents of having a proper plan to improve infrastructure and revamp service delivery and would win the elections without the big money his competitors have but through their support.

"Money will and can not win an election and I will win with the people's support since it is cartels against myself in the race, " said Miguna.

He said he intends to 'drain the swamp' and make it productive for the people saying there were wrongful attitudes that some things could not be done for Nairobi to international standards.

Also on the hot seat was Esther Pasaris who he accused of carrying her plan for the city at word in mouth.

Pasaris, said many people have had manifestos and failed to deliver their promises after elections and does not see the need to have one.

"I do not need to have a manifestos as several people have had their own and failed to deliver to the people, " said Pasaris.

She reaffirmed her support for governor Kidero saying there was no need for politicking during the governor's term since he needed support to offer services and develop Nairobi.

" I want to vie for governor's seat but I will only stand against him when the electioneering time comes. Since I need services I have to support Governor Kidero ,"she affirmed.

In the heated up debate, Miguna accused his competitor who has moved to sue him for defamation of being a just a flower girl looking for billionaire sponsors for her survival.

He said he was not worried about being sued by Passaris even a million times as she had been losing at least all her cases.

Ms Pasaris urged Nairobians not to entrust Mr Miguna with leadership as he is likely to betray them just as he had betrayed former Prime Minister Raila Odinga who she said helped him rise to recognition.
