Barrack Muluka has termed himself a
beneficiary of unfortunate wisdom while responding to questions in a live
television interview.
This is in relation to a fight that
has been brewing between the political analyst and former Prime Minister Raila
Odinga. The writer got into trouble with Mr. Odinga over his recent remarks on his column on the newspaper.
He wrote an article that seems not
to have gone down well with Mr. Odinga who took time to report Muluka to his
kinsmen. His comments seemed to have irked Mr. Odinga who allegedly referred to
Muluka as ‘foolish’ in his home area.
Mr. Muluka was however quick to
rubbish the claims saying, “Anyone abusing you is feeling your weight.”
He further stated the abuse was
meant to demean the people of Emanyule considering he is their son.
“When Raila says I am a fool, it is
an insult to our people because I am their son,” he stated.
Muluka has not taken the epithets
lying down and did not stop before confirming he had some bad news for the CORD
leader.
“The bad news to Raila is that I
will not stop talking”. He said he would continue writing and will not chicken
out.
He did not end before issuing his
opinion on the debate on the CORD coalition. CORD coalition has been in the
media for reasons of ‘discord’. On this,
he told the coalition’s top brass to ensure they ended the wrangling and discord
in the party.
“CORD must avoid the friendly fires
because even friendly fires kill,” he added. He further advised that the
easiest way to managing their problems was to come out and accept they had a
problem.
