The current retirement age of 60 should be reverted back to 55 years.

Currently, there are many educated but unemployed youth whose services would assist the country to advance economically.

By reviewing retirement age, more jobs will be created while employers will enjoy increased output from the young and energetic population.

The changing technological changes demand fresh minds and most of the current workforce comprises aged category whose vision has been overtaken by events.

As we focus on Vision 2030 one of the strategies Government should consider is to get rid of unproductive elements in public offices in order to curtail cartels by reinstating retirement to 55 years.
