Lawyer's killers must be punished

By Vincent Okumu | Jul 4th 2016 | 1 min read

The recent killing of lawyer Willie Kimani, his client and a taxi driver must be investigated and the perpetrators brought to book immediately.

The police should not show any kind of laxity in ensuring the killers are punished as per the requirements of Kenyan laws. There should be no mercy on the suspected police officers.

These kind of extrajudicial killings can only be stopped if harsh punishment is meted out to the offenders. What kind of society are we building if we instill fear in young Kenyans willing to pursue law as their profession?
