Government should tame alarming homicide cases

Homicide cases are being reported in Kenya almost on a daily basis.

In most of the cases a man kills his wife or his wife and kids before taking his own life.

Also a woman injures the husband or women badly beating up their children for disciplinary reasons.

Recently, a man attacked and injured his pregnant wife in Lang'ata in front of his four-year-old child.

This followed after another man reportedly hacked his wife to death.

Women are not left out. For instance a woman was convicted of murdering her co-wife's child and we have had previous cases of women terrorizing their husbands.

The government should research on why such cases are rampant and find a way to curb it before it is too late.  This includes child abuse, molestation and rape.
