Will Kalonzo defect to Jubilee come 2017?

The past 3 years have not been a bed of roses for the Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka who is also a co-principal in the CORD coalition.

When Kalonzo Musyoka joined CORD to support the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, he was hopeful that Raila will win and in return support him in his bid for the 2017 Presidency candidature.

This was never to be as Raila lost by a tyranny of numbers against his close competitor President Uhuru Kenyatta. Raila losing the March 2013 elections meant one thing to Mr. Musyoka, their deal had failed.

He tried to support Mr. Odinga but it seems that his support won’t last for long. This is after a well-known Nigerian Prophet Johnson Suleman predicted the 2017 elections outcome. He did it in front of Cord Co-Principal and Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka On April 19 during an inter-denominational meeting at KICC. He maintained that the current president will win the 2017 polls but added that he can foresee a change in many things.

If the prophesy is anything to go by, it’s deemed to change the Wiper leader’s allegiance to CORD bearing in mind that he wouldn’t risk missing a position in the next government for another 5 years.

If Kalonzo Musyoka decides to join Jubilee his decision is deemed to change the allegiance of Ukambani politics completely due to the influence he bears in the counties of Machakos, Kitui, Makueni and some other major parts of the Coast region. This means Raila Odinga will lose terribly in the 2017 elections.

This revelation happens at a time when President Kenyatta is trying to woo Ukambani leaders including the Wiper boss to join the Jubilee government.

According to Nigerian media sources, the same prophet had prophesied that the former Nigerian President Jonathan Goodluck would lose because of the people whom he was working with at the time. Mr. Goodluck finally lost to the incumbent President, Muhammadu Buhari.

For now Kalonzo Musyoka is in a great dilemma whether to join Jubilee or risk being in CORD and fail to be elected or appointed in the next government.
