Too late to hold a referendum

Although the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has pledged to complete verifying the 1.4 million Okoa Kenya signatures by the end of this month, Kenyans should ask themselves the significance and aftermath of the process.

It would not be wise to hold a referendum when we are just a few months away from the next General Election.

This is a move that even our Government should feel guilty allocating an estimated Sh30 billion to, when the money can be channelled into development projects to improve the living standards of Kenyans.
