Adhere to acceptable 'code' in campaigns

The political climate in Kenya needs to be cooled. But that does not mean that any wrongs, if any, be swept under the carpet.

Individual politicians should ask themselves if they are conducting themselves with decorum. Where they have queries on financial probity, the relevant Government bodies should address the matters being raised.

Embellishing matters whose veracity has not been proven will at the end of it all be futile.

Politicians who refuse to adhere to acceptable ‘code’ in campaigns should be shunned.
