Second KMTC campus set to open next year

A second Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) campus will be opened in the county early next year. The institution was officially launched over the weekend in an occasion graced by Deputy President William Ruto (right) at Kehancha Sub-County Hospital. The campus will accommodate 100 students and is bound to increase its intake after more infrastructural facilities have been installed. The institution is among two training facilities for which Ruto helped to lay foundation stones during his weekend visit and which he said would be key in transforming lives. Kuria West MP Mathias Robi said through the Constituency Development Fund, the campus would be empowered to accommodate more students.
