Mutula on KACC

The government is now considering a repeal of the kenya anti corruption and ethic commission act barely a week after it was enacted. According to justice minister mutula kilonzo, the new law which establishes a new anti graft body was hurriedly passed after being mutilated by a parliament that was seemingly fixated on fixing outgoing kacc director plo lumumba. And as ktn’s newton ndebu reports, mutula is worried that the new anti graft law would create the weakest anti-graft body and take the fight against graft at least 10 steps back.
