The government introduced fish farming under the Economic Stimulus Plan and some counties embraced it with open arms.

Kiambu County has gone big with fishing and this is evident from the many farmers who are reaping the fruits. John Njuguna, a retired civil servant from Kanunga, Kiambu County is one of the many success stories.
