MOMBASA KENYA: Former champions Makupa Lakers beat Mjetts 98-38 in a match during the Mombasa region basketball league at High Level ground. The win has put Lakers back to title contention and it will be looking forward to wrestle the trophy from the reigning champions Malindi Netts. In other matches, Congo Nets lost 35-55 to Creeks, Mtopanga Finest hit Wundanyi Stingers 61-37, while Coastal Kings stopped Maweni Hornets 66-44. Mombasa Aviation needed half a basket to edge out Gorofani Raptors 61-60, Kisauni Kings lost 34-43 to Buxton Hawks, Kiembeni Heats silenced Oceanears 62-58 while Bravehearts upset Changamwe Rollers 65-64.
