The Effects Of Kelai In Turkana

John Kelai made international headlines following his exploits in New Delhi, India that saw him win the commonwealth marathon…a first for Kenya in 20 years.  The champion became a source of pride for the country and his home town in Turkana alike.  Now the county is abuzz with activity thanks to youth who have decided to take up running instead of taking care of livestock.  They believe following in Kelai’s footsteps will be beneficial to them and their county at large.
