Daegu count down: Focus on 5000M

Athletes doubling up for competition has been a forte for the Ethiopians but for the first time at the worlds 10,000m athlete Linet Masai crosses over to the 12 lap race while her compatriot 5,000m world champion Vivian Cheruiyot joins her in the 24 lap race. Both athletes will be hoping to excel in both events but it is the 10,000m final that will open proceedings and Masai is keen on defending her title.
