Perhaps police training should include a course in arresting naked people in the dark. Two Administration Police officers in Busia District were recently rendered helpless when they found the man they had gone to arrest had disappeared naked into the night.
The 9pm incident left the officers spectators in a situation they had expected to have command of. The officers had gone to arrest a man who villagers had accused of many crimes.
