How Nollywood actress Ini Edo escaped death in church

Popular Nigerian actress Ini Edo has revealed how she narrowly escaped death.

Edo claims she could have been among the people who died in the church that collapsed in Nigeria killing more than 160 people.

Addressing her million-plus followers on Instagram, the actress said she escaped death by a whisker after skipping the church service in Uyo.

“Two days ago, I was very bitter about the unreliability of some of our airlines because of cancelling flights. Out of determination, I took a flight to Calabar with the hopes of being in Uyo just in time for the service since the journey between Calabar and Uyo was just about an hour, “she wrote, explaining that the journey ended up taking over seven hours because of traffic.

“No accident, good road, no hitches just headlock traffic. While in the car, I started wondering why all my efforts to be at the service were being thwarted... then I got a call, that the entire church building had collapsed during service.... Once again, God had saved me!”
