These 4 types of men shouldn’t be in your list come 2017

Life is too damn short to waste on useless men who are not worth your time of day. Holding extremely high standards for the men you get involved with means you hold extremely high standards for yourself as well and as you know, the man you go out with is a reflection of who you are. As we get into 2017, go into the dating field without feeling the need to apologise for turning down these kinds of men:

Men you’re not physically attracted to.

Sorry ugly fellas, No spark, no date. Period. If you get turned on by men who have the body and swagger of Idris Elba then by all means, hold out for your Idris Elba.

I am one of those people who don’t believe that physical attraction can grow over time. It is either there or not. You should not feel bad for not going out with a man who doesn’t make you burn with desire, no matter how funny or nice he is.

Men who are not successful in life.

You don’t have to apologise for being attracted to men with status and wealth. No woman that is worth anything wants to have to do anything with losers.

If the man pursuing you doesn’t have a decent job or any desire to look for a job, he’s probably not going to make much of himself and he is definitely not worth your time. Do not be afraid to associate yourself with success. Successful men are good for more than just wealth.

Men who don’t want to spend money on you.

A man might be successful but if he has reservations about spending his money on you, he is not worth your time. You are a lady and it should go without saying that the man in your life treats you as such.

You should not be made to feel like a gold digger for expecting your man to spend money on you. I have always believed that if a man is stingy with his money, he will be equally stingy with this time, emotions and affection.

Men who are not intelligent.

You want to date a man you can have intellectual conversations with. If you consider yourself a woman of above average intellect, you would be wasting your time with men who are not intelligent. You need a man of at least similar if not superior intellect to have a comfortable conversation.

There’s more to talk about, more to relate to, more in common and not to mention that intelligence is extremely sexy on a man.
