Though Kenya women national volleyball team Malkia Strikers lost the FIVB quarter-finals Challenger Cup match to Puerto Rico, Pamela Adhiambo's impressive show will go down in history as one of the best performances by a Kenyan on the global stage.

Malkia Strikers showed improvement despite losing in straight sets of 25-20, 25-19 and 27-25 in a match played on Thursday in Manila, Philippines.
