Just like American singer Chris Brown and his ex-flame Rihanna who cannot seem to get over each other so  has been the case with local musicians Colonel Mustapha and his ex Marya going by their actions.

The former lovebirds have been trading accusations against each other for the past two weeks after their breakup. This has elicited mixed reactions among their fans including critics who feel that they are out to ride on negative publicity owing to the fact that music has not worked for them.

But Mustapha who recently opened up a clothing shop near Nairobi’s Nyayo estate, reveals that he is currently a family man and that Marya is in the past.

“I decided to settle down hardly two years after I broke up with Marya and I can proudly say that I have a better half that I love and adore very much. I wish Marya the best in her life and hope that she can find the right man to settle down with too. Everything that happened in the past should remain in the past since there is no perfect relationship,” he says

Mustapha confesses that although initially he found it hard to move on owing to his undying love for Marya that saw him get stressed out besides seeking solace in alcohol and women, it is over now.
