A former Manchester United star has labelled Paul Pogba a "spoilt brat" amid the Frenchman's ongoing feud with boss Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho confirmed Pogba had been stripped of the vice-captaincy following Tuesday night's defeat by Derby County in the FA Cup.

It came following comments made by Pogba about the Red Devils' style of play after a sub-par start to the season, which also saw them drop points at home to newly-promoted Wolves on Saturday.

Pogba and Mourinho then had a hostile stand-off in training on Wednesday, with cameras capturing the frosty exchange.

It is believed an Instagram post uploaded by Pogba during the reverse against the Rams was the reason for Mourinho's annoyance.

Former United striker Alan Brazil, who played 41 times for the club during the 1980s, took aim at Pogba on his talkSPORT show on Thursday morning.

He said: "Whether it's Jose's fault or Pogba's fault, I don't care. He is the manager, he is the boss. Pogba is a spoilt brat who has been average for United this season, at best.

"I like Jose. It's not easy and he's not doing a fantastic job at the moment. But he can't be undermined by this guy."
