Wayne Rooney has backed the NSPCC 's new football helpline after a series of child sex abuse revelations rocked the industry.

Former players Andy Woodward, Steve Walters, Paul Stewart, who spoke exclusively to the Mirror, and David White have so far come forward to say they were abused as children.
