Van Gaal refuses to rule out late United deals

Louis van Gaal has refused to rule out the possibility of more ins and outs at Manchester United before Tuesday’s transfer deadline.

United have been linked with late moves for Thomas Muller, Arjen Robben, Gareth Bale and Felipe Anderson, the Manchester Evening News report.

There could also be outgoings with reports on Friday night that West Bromwich Albion have agreed a £6m fee for Jonny Evans and speculation out-of-favour Victor Valdes is heading to Besiktas.

The Dutchman refused to rule out any more transfers and insisted the club would make announcements when any deals are completed.

He said: “We shall do announcements when we want to do it not when you want an answer.”

Asked again later, he replied: “The same as your colleague. When we want to do announcements we shall do it.”
