Nyamira Governor Amos Nyaribo has expressed concerns over 'unnecessary' trips by his senior staff that have continued to strain the county financially.

Mr Nyaribo said he had been forced to put in place austerity measures to cut down unnecessary expenditures, especially on fuel, to rein in officers making meaningless road trips.
