With the much-anticipated visit of United Kingdom's King Charles III and Queen Camilla to the country tomorrow, there are growing calls for apology and compensation of Kenyans by the British government for atrocities committed during colonial rule.
Activists have threatened to demonstrate tomorrow along Kimathi Street, Nairobi, to demand that the King apologise to Kenyans for torture and crimes committed during the colonial rule between 1901 and 1960 that left thousands dead in the struggle for independence.
