With the conclusion of the World Rally Championships (WRC) Safari Rally over the weekend, local drivers equally stamped their authority irrespective of the quality of their rallying machines.

Five-time champion Carl 'Flash' Tundo and Jeremiah Wahome finished in respectable positions by their own standards which allowed them to earn points for the Africa Rally Championships (ARC) and Kenya National Rally Championships (KNRC) series.
