Rugby: KCB and Homeboyz clash Kenya Cup's battle for supremacy

Former champions KCB Rugby Club will welcome Homeboyz at the KCB Sports Club in Ruaraka as the 2022-2023 Kenya Cup enters match day three.

New Homeboyz coach Oscar Okaron will be facing a stern test at the den but will be buoyed by their stellar start to the campaign.

Since rescinding their decision to pull out of the Kenya Cup, the Deejays have been in stellar form after dispatching Mwamba (19-13) and Strathmore University Leos (22-16).

However, a real test await at KCB who have not conceded any try or penalty this season stands waiting.

The bankers saw of Quins 38-0 before schooling MMUST 41-0 last week.

"We are ready for them. It has been a fantastic start to the campaign for us considering last season's troubles. We know it will be a tough game but we are going full offensive on them as we want to win," said the former Koyonzo Secondary School tactician.

In Kakamega, defending champion Kabras Sugar welcome battered Quins at the Kakamega Showgrounds as Blak Blad seeks a third win against Mwamba.

Newbies Catholic Monks on the other hand will be seeking a first victory when they host Mean Machine.
