Ronald Omondi has been unanimously elected as the Kakamega sports golf club captain for the calendar year 2025 as golfers' country wide set to resume action from next weekend after the festive season holidays.

The golfers had taken a break in most golf clubs in the country after their club events and the conclusion of this year's Kenya Golf Union (KGU) organized 28 Kenya Amateur Golf Championship (KAGC) series that concluded with the Nyali Open Championship at Nyali golf and country club in Mombasa last month.
