Record Kenyan champions Gor Mahia are back in the FKF Premier League title race.

The defending champions seem to have awaken from their sleep and reignited their push to retain the title they won last season after coming from behind to thrash Kariobangi Sharks 3-1 in a rescheduled match played in front of new Harambee Stars coach Benni McCarthy at Dandora Stadium.
