KCB rally to host Sharks as Gor Mahia, Tusker drop points

Football fans were treated to a goal fest at Kasarani Annex which hosted a double header as KCB staged a second half comeback to a force a 2-2 draw against Kariobangi Sharks in a round 25 Football Kenya Federation Premier League match.

Ironically, all four matches played on Saturday ended in draws giving Homeboyz an opportunity to stretch their lead at the top to 12 points. Homeboyz face Sofapaka today.

Defending champions fell further away from their attempt to close on leaders Kakamega Homeboyz after being held to a 0-0 draw by Gor Mahia in a FKF Premier League match staged at Thika Stadium.

Bidco United played out to a 1-1 draw against Posta Rangers as Kenya Police and FC Talanta also played out to a similar score line.

At Kasarani Annex, Steve Otieno grabbed a brace for Sharks in the first half, with Henry Onyango and Derrick Otanga scoring for KCB.

The draw left the bankers sixth with 39 points, a point above Sharks.

In the early-kick off match, Duncan Otieno drew first blood in favor of Kenya Police before Brian Yakhama came off the bench to rescue a point for Talanta.

Brian Otieno gave Rangers a first half lead at Thika Stadium after netting in the 30th minute before substitute Brian Nyakan salvaged a point for Bidco with a goal deep inside stoppage time.
