FKF Premier League leaders Kakamega Homeboyz came from behind twice to force a 2-2 draw with struggling AFC Leopards in a mid-week match played at Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi on Wednesday.
Yema Mwana’s goal 20 minutes from full time proved crucial for the visitors as the draw saw Homeboyz to stretch their unbeaten run in the league to 11 matches.
Bernard Wanyama gave Ingwe the lead at the half hour mark before Michael Karamor restored parity for Homeboyz as the two teams went to the break tied at 1-1.
Eugene Mukangula thought he had scored the winner for Leopards in the 56th minute but league leaders crawled back once again to tie the scores at 2-2 in the 71st minute with Mwana rescuing a point for Homeboyz.

Despite the stalemate, the Kakamega based club remain top of the log with 25 points, four more than second placed KCB.
The bankers however have a chance to cut the lead to within one point ahead of their scheduled match against Nzoia Sugar on Thursday.
The result left Leopards 13th with 10 points, three points above the danger zone. This was Ingwe’s fifth draw of the campaign.
