Local football champions Tusker FC have continued to beef up their squad ahead of the new season by roping in two more midfielders from rival team in the FKF Premier League.

Tusker confirmed the resigning of Clyde Senaji who has returned to the club.

Senaji will be part of the Tusker FC family for the next two seasons after penning down a two year contact.

“I am delighted to return to Tusker and complete what I had not achieved here. This is a great club with great history and this season playing Continental football. I aim to fight for a position in the team and get that experience of playing in the Champions League,” said Senaji.

The breweries also confirmed the return of winger John Njuguna to the club.

Njuguna, a product of the club’s Youth Team returns on a two-year contract and has joined the team’s training group in Mombasa.

“I am really happy to come back to a place I call home. I have had three years outside in which I have grown and matured as a player and now I believe I come back here a better person. I am looking forward to the challenge ahead.”

“I am more so excited with the challenge of playing continental football. This is a massive opportunity for me as a player. Also, Tusker is a team with high demands and that will make me push harder as a player,” Njuguna said.

Njuguna was with the Youth Team from the 2016 to the 2017 season before he joined Ulinzi Stars.

Tusker CEO Charles Obiny said the club is happy with the business they have already done and will continue looking at options ahead of their Caf Champions League return.
