Arsenal are trying to adapt to the demands of the “most difficult transfer market” as the north London club aim to strengthen the squad ahead of the new Premier League season, manager Mikel Arteta said on Thursday.

The gunners kicks off their 2021-22 campaign with an away to Brentford Community Stadium tonight (10pm). Thomas Frank’s men are playing their tade in the English  top flight for the first time since 1947.
