All eyes will be on Erick Kapaito today when fifth-placed Kariobangi Sharks travel to play Posta Rangers at Ruaraka Grounds as round 25 of the Football Kenya Federation Premier League continues.

Kapaito currently leads the league’s top-scoring chart with 18 goals, surpassing his 2018 golden boot winner of 16 goals.

Despite Sharks mixed results in recent weeks, Kapaito has been getting the goals and stakes will be high at Ruaraka where fans will be waiting to see if he will be breaking the 20 goal barrier mark.

Only Boniface Ambani, Jesse Were and Allan Wanga have scored more than 20 goals in a single season with each netting 26, 21 and 23 goals respectively in the years 2006, 2016 and 2007.

Kariobangi Sharks are currently five points behind record Kenyan champions Gor Mahia and a win will see them narrow the gap to one point.

In Nakuru, the ASK Showground will host a doubleheader with wounded Ulinzi Stars taking on Nairobi City Stars in the early 1pm kick-off match before Kakamega Homeboyz play relegation-threatened Mathare united.

Ulinzi are coming from a disappointing two matches performance that have seen them concede seven goals to leaders Tusker and Homeboyz.

On the other hand, a resilient Mathare United side will be hoping to get out of the relegation zone with a win over Homeboyz who are coming from an impressive 3-1 win over Ulinzi.

The Slum boys will move out of the drop zone for the first time this campaign if they win after Vihiga United lost to Wazito.
