Caleb Olilo’s 78th minute shot was all AFC Leopards needed to claw Ulinzi Stars and collect maximum points in FKF Premier League tie at ASK Nakuru Showground yesterday.

Olilo beat Ulinzi defenders Brian Birgen, Harun Mwale, Boniface Andayi and Alex Masinde with a rasping shot that caught custodian James Saruni off guard.

It was a few minutes after Ulinzi’s John Kago tested AFC goal keeper Benjamin Ochan with a long range shot but was blocked off by Leopards defence.

Immediately, Ulinzi stand-in coach Fred Ogot made two substitutions in Clinton Omondi and Enos Ochieng for Masita Mosota and Mark Bikokwa respectively in what resulted in a wave of attacks but yielded no fruits.

AFC Leopards head coach Patrick Aussems said: “We came to win and that’s exactly what I have achieved as we prepare for our last two matches.”
