Shortly after Setien’s departure, Barcelona sack Sporting Director Eric Abidal

Barcelona and Eric Abidal, have mutually agreed to part ways.

This comes hours after head coach Quique Setien was relieved of his duties.

The Catalans thanked Abidal for his professionalism while announcing the termination of his contract.
