“As truly indicated by David, Gor Mahia is about to open a new chapter in the quest to begin dining with elite clubs of African football at the continental table. We are glad and excited that Umbro has agreed to partner with the club towards opening this new chapter. We guarantee to you, Umbro that we will never let you down, we are the mighty K’Ogalo. We share the same values, let us grow the brands together,” said Rachier.

The deal will see Umbro provide high-quality apparel and equipment to the club.

On Tuesday, January 22, officials from Umbro visited K’Ogalo at their training base in Camp Toyoyo, Nairobi to showcase samples of the kits the will provide the club.

Umbro SA Chairman Brian Katzen, accompanied by CEO David Ricketts expressed delight, saying the partnership will inspire the team get to greater heights as well as inspire footballers in Africa.

“I am proud we have started this journey with Gor Mahia and we hope this will turn out to be a long term partnership. It is a pure technical partnership which will be beneficial to both parties and we are happy to be associated with this big club in Kenya,” Katzen said.
