Arsenal are willing to offer Olivier Giroud as bait in their bid to sign Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi.

That is according to Italian outlet Gazzetta who say the Gunners are ready to offer the Frenchman plus £30million to land the Argentine forward.

Arsene Wenger is keen to strengthen his front line as he looks to end Arsenal’s title drought next season and has reportedly identified Icardi as a target.

Napoli are also apparently interested in signing the 23-year-old who is the captain of his current club.
