Suspended AFC Leopards striker Noah Wafula said he did not take bribes as claimed. Wafula, who said the club was yet to give him a suspension letter, said, “I have been reading the papers about my suspension for receiving money from Mathew Opwora but I am yet to get a document confirming it.” The Harambee Stars striker said he was biding his time at the club as the matter was sorted out. Wafula, captain Martin Imbalambala and Team Manager Willis Waliaula are suspended after the club executive said they received money from AFC’s other faction led by Opwora.
