Last Wednesday, a day designated for the opposition-led street protests over the high cost of living, I decided to find out what was going on away from home.

I took a drive through the Thika Superhighway, back to the city through Ronald Ngala, Haille Sellasie, Moi Avenue, City Hall Way into Uhuru Highway then to Westlands before walking into one of the supermarkets.
