Explained: How to update your prepaid token meter

Kenya Power has announced to millions of Kenyans who rely on prepaid meters for electricity that they will need to update their token meters by August 31.

While launching the 'Update Token Meter Yako' campaign in Nairobi, the company's Managing Director, Joseph Siror, stated that the exercise aims to transition prepaid users to a new system as the current one is set to expire.
