Brazillian coach Jose Marcello Ferreira "Ze Maria" resigned yesterday after the club refused to budge to his demands for a salary increment days after the club won the Sportpesa Supercup title in Tanzania last week.

Ze Maria who took over the reins at the club technical bench last March replacing Scotsman Frank Nuttal tendered his resignation to the club chairman Ambrose Rachier mid yesterday morning before taking a flight to Europe later in the evening.
