Prostitution can be traced back to 2400BC in ancient Babylon. The nature of the trade is such that the man delivers both pleasure and pay to the woman, and the woman provides only service - such an imbalanced structure of dealing between grownups of assumed sound mind. I say, 'assumed' because one gender clearly lacks the intelligence for basic negotiation as far as the trading terms of the sex business is concerned. That the circumstances have remained unadjusted even as women push for equality is further proof that the male brain is just mediocre at best.

Men only started making inroads into the gaining side of prostitution in the 1800s as transvestite prostitutes, also called 'fairies'. That was however only a tiny step in a largely skewed business where women remain the prize item of business. So, these men started posing as women, imitating feminine dress, demeanor, and presentation to attract other men to pay them.
