Nyaga claims another gold for Kenya in Mauritius

Caroline Nyaga delivered a masterclass running tin running to win the women’s 10,000m final at the going at the African Championships at the Cote d’Or National Sports Complex, Mauritius yesterday.

Nyaga, fresh from bagging bronze medal in the women’s 5,000m on the second day of the championships, convincingly clinched the race in 32:12.61 and was followed by Uganda’s Zena Chebet (32:17.66) with Ethiopian Meret Gebre taking home silver in 32:25.97.
