Former Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) men’s Premier League champions Ulinzi Warriors and Thunder begin the quarter-final play-offs matches away in Kisumu and Eldoret today.

Warriors who are seeking to reclaim the title that has eluded them for several seasons will take on Lakeside while Eldonets will host Thunder in Eldoret.

Ulinzi came close to winning the 2018 title but lost to Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) in the final. They have had a good run finishing on top of the standings in regular season with 43 points following 21 wins and a loss to Thunder in the regular season.

Contesting for a semis slot in the best of three, Warriors need two wins against Lakeside who finished eighth to seal a last four slot.
