Is Ibrahimovic coming back to the Serie A?

Serie A chief Luciano Moggi has urged Fiorentina to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The veteran striker currently plays for Los Angeles Galaxy in the MLS at the age of 37.

And despite his ever-advancing years, Juventus executive Moggi believes the Swede can still do a job in Europe.

"?This would be something not useful, but more. Zlatan has a biological body that allows him to perform at his best even at his age, just like Cristiano Ronaldo," Moggi said ( via CalcioMercato ).

"He is sowing victories everywhere, even in America."

Ibrahimovic has been a big hit across the pond since his move from Man Utd last year.

He netted 22 times in 27 appearances in his first campaign in America, and has followed that up with 16 in 19 this season to sit third in the list of the division's top scorers.

And he is no stranger to the Serie A, having won the footballer of the year award three times during his career, as well as the Capocannoniere - a.k.a the golden boot - on two occasions.

Moggi added: "Certainly it will not be as easy in the Serie A, but the goals have to be made wherever we go to play and, if he came to Fiorentina, even for the youth players it would be fantastic because they could perhaps learn something more from him that not even the coach is able to give.

"But it is obvious that he is no longer the player he used to be."

Meanwhile in MLS news, former Man Utd boss David Moyes has thrown his name into the hat for the managers role at Inter Miami.

The new franchise fronted by England legend and ex-LA Galaxy player David Beckham will join the league from the beginning of next season.

Beckham is yet to appoint a head coach, but Moyes admitted he would be open to the position.

"It is something which looks a really interesting project," Moyes said. "So MLS is growing and Miami is a great city. It is something which I would consider as an option."
