Neymar has sent Luis Suarez a message of support after his tearful exit from Copa America.

Suarez broke down after his missed penalty saw Uruguay eliminated from the competition on penalties by Peru.

The Barcelona forward was first to step up for his country but saw his spot-kick saved - before every other penalty in the shootout was scored, sending Peru through.

Suarez was left devastated by his miss, breaking down in tears and having to be consoled as he left the pitch.

Neymar, who is missing the Copa America with Brazil through injury, was watching on and sent a message to Suarez on his Instagram story.

"Get up," Neymar wrote, alongside a video of Suarez crying.

"You are very great, brother. I love you friend."

Neymar has been linked with a move back to Barcelona in recent times, and the fact he is still communicating with Suarez will continue to fuel those rumours.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly prepared to sell Neymar but want around £120million, and likely players in return, if they are to part ways.

Neymar joined the Ligue 1 side from Barcelona for a world record £200million in August 2017.
