It is the pride of every player to have their family in the stands cheering out for them especially on big stages.

And Harambee Stars and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama has done exactly that by flying his family members to Madrid to watch and support him in tonight’s Champions League clash.

The Kenyan skipper flew his family members to Madrid last week and it is reported that he spent around Sh2 million.

The 27-year-old took to social media to share the special announcement with a photo of his family members in the stands at the Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid captioning it “Family” with a “LOVE emoji.”

Tottenham battle Liverpool at the same venue in Spain tonight, with Wanyama keen to be the second Kenyan to lift the prestigious trophy after his blood brother his brother did it with Inter Milan in 2010.

The big Kenyan will not be the first to be watched by his family while playing a big game. The likes of Steph Curry, Granit Xhaka and many more stars have had the experience.
