VfB Stuttgart and France defender Benjamin Pavard will be joining Bayern Munich at the end of the 2018-19 season.
Pavard, 22, was part of the Les Bleus team that triumphed at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
According to the official Bundesliga website, Pavard has signed a five-year deal with the Bavarians.
Bayern Munich Sporting Director Hasan Salihamidzic confirmed the news, expressing his delight in acquiring the full-back’s services.
"He's a young player and a world champion. We're glad and proud to have gained such a player for FC Bayern," said Salihamidzic as seen by Gam Yetu on the website.
He also confirmed the signing on social media
"I can confirm that Benjamin Pavard will join us on a five-year deal from 1st July 2019," Salihamidzic posted on Twitter.
