We can all imagine what Christmas would be like for an international footballer like Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

You pop out in your gold £270,000 Lamborghini with your pal for a bit of shopping in a plush Gucci store.

But what happens if your pal happens to be Ousmane Dembele?

Well, Arsenal fans get very excited, that's what.

Aubameyang is never shy on his Instagram account, last night posting a video of his impressive supercar as he goes on a festive shopping trip.

But never mind the high-spec bling motor, it's the sighting of Dembele in the mega-expensive store with the Gabon striker that really has Gunners fans purring.

As soon as they clasped eyes on him one supporter posted: "Was that Dembele? Jesus bring him over to Arsenal already..."

One added: "Yo @o.dembele7 you wanna come out here my G?"

Another said: "Bring on O Dembele" with another adding: "Dembele, come to Arsenal, please."

These two have history...

Two weeks ago Aubameyang sent Dembele a congratulatory message following the Barcelona forward's goal against Spurs.

The striker, who has been linked with a January move away from the Nou Camp, produced a superb solo effort in the Champions League clash.

After he missed training last month, speculation that the striker would leave the club was rife. Arsenal were, and still are, one of the clubs linked with purchasing the striker.

It was even mooted that Aubameyang, Dembele's team-mate at Borussia Dortmund, would be used to help persuade the Frenchman join the Gunners.

After Dembele scored on Tuesday night, Aubameyang tweeted: "Wouaaaahhhhh non mon petit tu es fort c’est incroyable."

Which translates too: "Woah my little, you are strong. It's incredible."

It didn't take long for club legend Ian Wright to get involved - who replied to Aubameyang's tweet with a GIF of "How much?”

The Gabon striker responded with a series of laughing emojis.
